Professor Scheppa was appointed to the position of Instructor in 1999. He was promoted to the position of Assistant Professor in 2001. Prior to coming to Concordia, Professor Scheppa worked as an actuarial analyst for two major life insurance companies and a large life insurance brokerage firm in the Chicago area. He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Chartered Life Underwriter.
Professor Scheppa has previously taught undergraduate and graduate courses in business and statistics at Carroll College, Upper Iowa University, and Keller Graduate School of Management.
Professor Scheppa received his undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and his master's degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. He currently is pursuing a PhD in Finance at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
A native of Port Edwards, Wisconsin, Professor Scheppa enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his wife and two children.
