Dr. Van Mobley was appointed Director of Community and Government Relations this January. He has served as Assistant Professor of History & Economics since 2001, and continues on in that capacity. Before coming to Concordia University Wisconsin he taught at Carroll College and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Outside academia Dr. Mobley has held positions in finance, industry, and politics. Dr. Mobley earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has also been a fellow at the United States Military Academy's Summer Seminar in Military History. His academic writing focuses on the relationships among American defense, economic, and foreign policy. Beginning this month, he is also pleased to serve as the editor of the Concordia Community Connection.
