Workforce Prep Week – February 13-16, 2017
This week will be comprised of events related to preparing students for the Workforce Career & Internship Fair the following week. Topics include resume/cover letter writing, job fair navigation, networking, and more.
Workforce Career & Internship Fair – February 21, 2017
Employers, graduate schools, and students from Wisconsin private colleges will gather at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Exposition Center to network, learn about opportunities, and meet other students and professionals. This event is beneficial for students in all stages of their degree – whether they are in the middle of an internship or job search or need to network and practice professionalism as they will be searching in the future.
Graduate School Information Session – Wednesday, March 22, 2017
All students interested in graduate school are encouraged to attend this session presented by Career Services staff. It will focus on the graduate school application timeline as well as an overview of application materials that many universities may require – such as personal statements.
Etiquette Dinner – Wednesday, April 19, 2017
Students, employers, faculty, and staff will gather together to share a 7 course meal and listen to a speaker discuss dining and business etiquette. Free of charge!
