Tickets are required for guests. Each graduate can request up to a total of 6 tickets, which are free. The graduate does not need a ticket for him/herself. Children who occupy a seat will need a ticket. Students participating in both the graduate and undergraduate ceremonies will need tickets for their guests for each individual ceremony. Individuals without tickets will not be admitted to commencement.

Where do I get my tickets?

Tickets will not be distributed until Countdown to Commencement on October 26th. Graduates can pick up their tickets at Countdown to Commencement on October 26th in the Lakeshore Room (Mequon campus).

What if I’m not on campus?

After October 26th, Students may pick up their tickets from the Registrar’s Office (LU 109) on the Mequon campus or request tickets be mailed to them. If you would like your tickets mailed to you, please email (you must include: name, student ID and address). Accelerated students that have completed the Graduation Application prior to the deadline and indicated they will be attending the graduation ceremony will receive tickets from their Center Director.

What if I need more than 6 tickets?

An extra pool of tickets for guests of graduation is now available. Please read the following closely to avoid confusion:

  1. Students can request up to 2 additional tickets for graduation. No more than 2 tickets will be distributed per graduate.
  2. Ticket requests will be fulfilled on a first come, first serve basis.
  3. Extra tickets requested will not be mailed or available for pick up prior to December 16th. They will be available for pick up on the day of graduation at the concession stand in the Field House lobby. To pick up tickets the day of graduation, your guest will need to provide your name. Tickets not picked up by 1:15pm on the day of graduation will be distributed to other families. Please plan to arrive early to pick up your tickets. Keep in mind that parking is often time consuming and can delay your arrival to the Field House.

To reserve 1 or 2 additional tickets, please do the following:

  1. Email to request extra tickets. You must include your name, F00 number, indicate your status as an undergraduate student, and whether you would like 1 or 2 more tickets.
  2. You will receive a response confirming the availability of tickets with a reminder for how to pick up your extra tickets the day of graduation.
  3. When the pool is depleted, students will be notified via CUW email.
