Teach without borders

You believe in the power of knowledge. So much so that you want the world to believe in its power, too. Then you’re a perfect fit for a teaching degree through the global outreach and innovation department at Concordia University Wisconsin. Our unique curriculum lets you connect with schools around the world to promote a hands-on, minds-on experience.

Our Vision

Teaching is the greatest vocation in the world. It’s also celebrated as such around the world when you’re part of our global outreach and innovation department. The scope of your education degree reaches classrooms worldwide through three key benefits that this program offers:

  1. Field work very early on, so you have lots of opportunity to experience real-life settings and connect theory with practice.
  2. Enriching international offerings, from a field experience in Japan for freshmen and sophomores to student teaching in Uruguay.
  3. A focus on the latest innovations and research to identify best practices in education. Our graduates are equipped to find better ways to facilitate learning in every classroom.

Another distinctively effective component of our global outreach and innovation department is Project CHANGE: A collaborative effort between CUW’s School of Education and the Black Student Union to visit K-12 schools to encourage and inspire students to attend college.
