Pharmacy Dual Degrees Admission

Concordia University Wisconsin offers student pharmacists the opportunity to earn a dual PharmD/MBA degree or combine the PharmD degree with the Master of Pharmaceutical/Chemical Product Development (MPD).

CUW-SOP has also partnered with the CUW School of Arts & Sciences and other four-year colleges to offer a 3+4 dual degree in which a student can earn a bachelor’s degree and PharmD degree in as little as 7 years.

CUW Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) Dual Degree

CUW pre-pharmacy students can earn a BSPS degree from CUW after admission into the PharmD program and completion of the first professional year in the PharmD program.

3+4 Dual Degree Partner Institutions

Pre-pharmacy students at any of our partner institutions can earn a bachelor’s degree from their institution after admission into the PharmD program and completion of 1-2 professional years in the PharmD program.

In the 3+4 dual degree program, students spend three years at their undergraduate institution taking classes towards a bachelor’s degree, while fulfilling the pre-pharmacy course requirements for CUW’s PharmD program. Upon admission into the PharmD program, students would begin the four-year PharmD program and use courses taken during their PharmD program to fulfill bachelor’s degree requirements at the undergraduate institution, using a “reverse transfer” model. Students earn a bachelor’s degree from their undergraduate institution (typically after the first or second year in CUW’s program) and a PharmD degree from CUW at the end of the four-year PharmD program.

We have partnered with UW-Milwaukee, Alverno College, Edgewood College and Concordia University St. Paul. Students interested in a 3+4 dual degree program should contact those schools for more information on coursework, admission requirements, and agreement details.
