About the School of Pharmacy

Our Commitment

The CUW-SOP, as a Lutheran Christian community of higher learning is committed to the development of pharmacists who are servant leaders dedicated to providing value-based, patient-centered care that improves the health of communities throughout the state and the country.

The School of Pharmacy’s caring, accessible pharmacy faculty members are committed to excellence in teaching, research, service, and practice. Students learn and acquire skills directly from practicing pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists involved in advancing patient care.

CUW-SOP Mission Elements

1. Patient-centered Service

The Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy is dedicated to advancing patient-centered care through medication therapy management, working with other health care providers to address the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of each patient.

2. Service to the Underserved

The Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy will partner with local, regional, and national health care entities to advance pharmacy practice in underserved rural and urban areas. Our school’s mission of service to enable improved health care access for underserved communities reflects the University’s larger mission as a Lutheran Christian learning institution to serve Christ in the Church and in the world.

3. Servant Leadership

The Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy will promote servant leadership and an enthusiasm for lifelong learning through excellence in teaching, service, practice, and scholarship.

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Program

Our Location

The CUW campus location just 15 miles north of downtown Milwaukee provides a great opportunity for synergy with hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies in Southeastern Wisconsin, as well as in the remainder of the state.

To prepare CUW School of Pharmacy students and residents for professional success, we’ve established strategic hospital and pharmacy partnerships that offer high-quality clinical experiences as students and residents launch-and build on-their pharmacy careers.
