Finding Freddy Scavenger Hunt

Location: All CUW Campus, All Day
During the day, Freddy will visit various offices and departments on campus. Follow @CUWCAB on social media and the CUW App to see where he is as well as to hear about the accomplishments of the corresponding office/department. First person to FIND Freddy will receive a prize.

Oktoberfest – Hosted by CMLT.

Location: 5- 7pm, Siebert Dining Room
Come enjoy a German-themed dinner to continue honoring the 500 th Anniversary of the Reformation – an important part of Concordia’s heritage.

Res Life Olympics

Location: 6-8pm, Terrace Room
If you are living in the Residence Halls, pull together a team of your friends to compete in Amazing Race style challenges. Food and prizes will be provided at the end of the event. Faculty v. Student Basketball Game – Featuring Bucks’ Rim Rockers

Location: 8:00pm, Field House
Cheer on your team – either CUW Faculty or Staff – at this basketball game! The Bucks’ Rim Rockers will also perform a 20 minute halftime show! Eat snacks from the Freddy Cart, compete in some fun competitions for prizes (free throw, longest shot, etc.) and receive a free homecoming shirt if you are one of the first 400 people at the game.

Homecoming Dinner & Dance

Location: 5:00pm – 12:00am, Florian Park Event and Conference Center
Bring a date or your friends and dance the night away after a tasty meal. Tickets on sale from Oct. 9-18 th at the CAB table.

Homecoming Court

During the Homecoming football game on Saturday, Nov. 4th, you will find out who is Concordia’s Homecoming King and Queen! Emails are sent to faculty and staff across campus, asking them to nominate some of their outstanding students. After those are received, a collective list of all nominations is compiled, and everyone gets a chance to vote to identify the top 5 contestants. Final votes will then be taken to identify the two winners! Voting will take place in Luther, near the Library staircase, from Oct. 23rd to Nov. 3rd.

Freddy Fest!

Food? Lawn games? Live music? What more could you want?! Stop by Regent’s Courtyard to hear music from The Bluffs, a CUW student band, eat lunch, play some games, and get excited for the game! This event is sponsored by SGA, CAB, and the Alumni and Parent Association. It will take place from 11am – 2pm. Lunch costs 1 meal swipe.

Homecoming Dinner & Dance

This year, the Homecoming Dinner and Dance will be hosted at Florian Event and Conference Center in Germantown, WI. Our theme for this year’s dance is “Every Mile, A Memory.” Dinner will begin at 6:30pm with dancing from 7:30pm-12:00am. Tickets for the dance can be found at the CAB table outside the Cafeteria from Oct. 9th to Oct. 18th. Ticket cost is $25, with a $5 discount for H1A Pledge Members. There will be free bus transportation provided from campus to the Florian Park starting at 4:30pm, leaving every half hour until 6pm. Buses will start returning to campus at 9pm, running every half hour. You may also drive your own personal vehicle to the dance. Doors open at 5pm and once you enter the venue, re-entry will not be allowed. This is an alcohol-free event.

Tickets will not be sold at the door. Please purchase your tickets no later than Wednesday, October 18 th.
