Falcon Spirit Award

One lucky Residence Hall is going to win the Falcon Spirit Award this year! This is an coveted award that will be passed on throughout the years – you don’t want to miss a chance to have this find a home in your Residence Hall! In order to win, your hall must show that it has the most CUW spirit. You earn “Spirit Points” by dressing up for the Theme days (see below), decorating your residence hall lounge/entry way, and participating in our CUW spirit pledge. Stop by the CAB table in the Library to track and earn points for your hall and get more information!

Dress-Up Days

We invite you to participate in our themed dress up days this year! When you dress up, please stop by the CAB table near the Library steps to be counted for your hall to win the Falcon Spirit Award! Please continue to abide by the Concordia standards of dress (as listed in the Code of Conduct) when participating in dress up days.

  • Monday: Pajama Day
  • Tuesday: Red, White & Blue Day
  • Wednesday: 80’s
  • Thursday: Twin Day
  • Friday: Falcon Fanatic! (dress in Concordia’s Blue, White & Orange)

Homecoming Court

During the Homecoming football game, you will find out who are Concordia’s Homecoming King and Queen! Emails are sent to faculty and staff across campus, asking them to nominate some of their outstanding students. After those are received, a collective list of all nominations is compiled, and everyone gets a chance to vote to identify the top 5 contestants. Final votes will then be taken to identify the two winners! Voting will take place in Luther, near the Library staircase, from Oct. 24th to Nov. 4th.

Freddy Fest!

Food? Lawn games? Free t-shirts? What more could you want?! Stop by Regent’s Courtyard to hear music from The Talon, Concordia’s Radio station, eat lunch, play some games, and receive some swag for the game! This event is sponsored by SGA, CAB, and Alumni and Parent Association. It will take place from 11am – 2pm. There is no cost, but lunch requires a meal swipe.

Homecoming Dinner & Dance

Our theme for this year’s dance is “Once Upon a Time. The dinner and dance will begin at 6pm and the River Club of Mequon – one of Mequon’s finest Country Clubs – so pull out your favorite fancy attire. Tickets for the dance can be found at the CAB table outside the Cafeteria or Nest from Oct. 17th to Nov. 4th. Ticket cost is $25. There will be free bus transportation provided from campus to the River Club starting at 5pm, and then again starting at 10pm to return to campus. Buses will run every 15-20 minutes. You may also drive your own personal vehicle to the dance. Once you enter the venue, re-entry will not be allowed. This is an alcohol-free event.
