Ancillary Research Agreements

This workshop will examine the different types of ancillary research agreements (confidentiality disclosure agreements, research agreements, material transfer agreements, etc.), when and why they are necessary, problematic clauses, and negotiation tips and tricks.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will learn when an ancillary agreement may be necessary.
  • Participants will become familiar with the differ types of ancillary agreements.
  • Participants will learn problematic terms in ancillary research agreements.
  • Participants will learn negotiation tips for ancillary agreements

(Almost) Everything You Need to Know about Undergraduate Research at Concordia University

Participants will learn:

  • What undergraduate research is and what it is not;
  • Undergraduate research best practices;
  • Current faculty mentor/student projects; and
  • Benefits of undergraduate research for faculty and for their students.

Participants will also receive a brief introduction to the CUR website and Concordia’s Undergraduate Research website.
