CSPA is the student pharmacist professional organization of Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy and is devoted to the development of future pharmacists who reach out from the classroom into the community through leadership and enthusiasm for patients. CSPA holds itself to the highest degree of commitment to service, professionalism, compassion, and education. CSPA serves as an umbrella organization for multiple professional pharmacy organizations and facilitates student involvement within them. CSPA is affiliated with the American Pharmacists Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists, American Society of Health‐System Pharmacists, and Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin. Additionally, CSPA is affiliated with other professional associations which students can elect to be a member of: National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), and Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA). All students in the School of Pharmacy are members of CSPA.
CSPA participates in local and national events as active and supportive members of affiliate organizations. In collaboration with the leadership of the governing board, students participate in various committees. The committees provide students with outreach opportunities, educational enrichment and professional development both in school and the community. CSPA demonstrates a commitment to excellence by cultivating CUW School of Pharmacy student pharmacists as servant leaders.
