CSPA is the student pharmacist organization of Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. CSPA is devoted to the development of future pharmacists who reach out from the classroom to the community and beyond through leadership and enthusiasm for our patients. We hold ourselves to the highest degree of commitment to service, professionalism, compassion, education.
Building on our core values of civility, collaboration, honesty, integrity, lifelong learning, motivation to improve, mutual respect, service to others, and tolerance, the organization’s current members developed the organization, wrote its constitution, elected officers, selected committees and developed policies and procedures. As an organization, we are affiliated with the American Pharmacists Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists, American Society of Health‐System Pharmacists, and Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin.
We participate in local and national events as active and supportive members of our affiliate organizations. In collaboration with the leadership of the governing board, students participate in various committees. The committees provide students with outreach opportunities, educational enrichment and professional development both in school and the community. From opportunities with the Boys and Girls Club and tab top collections for Children’s Hospital Wisconsin to the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk and a medication collection day in Fall of 2011, CSPA demonstrates a commitment to excellence by cultivating CUW School of Pharmacy student pharmacists as service leaders.
