Learn more about our Lay Ministry programs.
The Lutheran Lay Ministry Association (LLMA) exist to support lay ministers who have completed any of the lay ministry programs offered over the years by Concordia University Wisconsin, and individuals who have completed a district Licensed Lay Deacon program.
Our goal is to keep information circulating about the various ways lay ministers are using their gifts to support their church, and how networking can help place people in ministry positions in Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod congregations.
The LLMA works together as an association to bring lay ministry information to pastors, congregations, and districts by being present at district and synod conferences and conventions. LLMA members are available to speak with congregations to inform leadership about lay ministry, and the flexibility graduates and licensed deacons can bring to the dynamics of ministry within the local community and congregation.
This is an invitation for you to join LLMA. You can support your brothers and sisters in Christ as we spread the word about the benefits of lay ministry in The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. If you would like to be a member of the LLMA please fill out the form here.
We look forward to connecting with you and hope you find LLMA a benefit.
