Master of Science - Applied Exercise Science

CUW's Master of Science in Applied Exercise Science program teaches you how to become a leader in the field of exercise science. Our broad range of electives allows you to create a program of study that meets your personal career goals.

Concordia's program gives you the opportunity to:

Learning Outcomes

In our graduate program you'll study and master:

  • Exercise physiology and applied kinesiology in applied settings
  • Functional assessment, training and conditioning, rehabilitation, and injury prevention
  • Cardiorespiratory, nervous and musculoskeletal systems responses to physical activity
  • Metabolic processes that affect weight control
  • Current topics in exercise science
  • Techniques to design, implement and evaluate research

The Applied Exercise Science curriculum includes coursework in cardiorespiratory and neuromuscular exercise physiology, weight control, kinesiology and research.
