Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitative Science (BSRS) is an undergraduate program designed to prepare students for entry into the Masters of Occupational Therapy (MOT). Students can finish both the undergraduate and graduate degrees in 4½ years.

 

Program Facts

  • Number of years for completion (BSRS) = 3 ½
  • Number of years for completion (BSRS and MOT) = 4 ½
  • There are 3 required online courses offered during winterim and summer sessions
  • Guaranteed acceptance into the MOT program with appropriate GPA

 

    Strengths of CUW’s Program

    Students enrolled in the BSRS and MOT programs will be exposed to rehabilitative topics early in their education that specifically address the needs of the rehabilitation professional. The MOT program provides a variety of hands-on opportunities such as, learning anatomy through human dissection, direct work with patients and global education via Dolphin assisted therapy in Curacao, Caribbean and mission work in Kathmandu, Nepal. 

    Additionally, any student with a BSRS degree and a minimum 3.0 GPA in pre-requisite courses will be automatically accepted into the Masters of Occupational Therapy program.
