Be a part of a transformational program that is one of only a handful of like-minded programs in American higher education, and the first of its kind in the Concordia University system. The CSLL minor develops the hearts and minds of students who want to live their faith in ways that make a real difference in society.

Program Overview
The CSLL minor is a team-taught, interdisciplinary program that taps the tremendous transformational power of service learning pedagogy in which students apply course concepts to in-the-field service endeavors. This program is a deliberate and direct attempt to fulfill Concordia University’s mission to prepare students for “service to Christ in the Church and the world.”  It is one of only a handful of like-minded programs in American higher education, and the first of its kind in the Concordia University System.
What to Expect

Each course in this minor contains a significant service learning component. The elective is included to allow students to bring in a course from their major that also emphasizes service.

The CSLL minor is intended to develop the hearts and minds of students who want to live their faith in ways that make a real difference in society. It would be a wonderful option for students interested in working in the nonprofit sector.
