All the world's a stage

The theatre department at Concordia University Wisconsin develops artists who support each other’s creativity and development to positively impact both the campus community and surrounding community through a wide variety of participation, from performances, classes, collaborations with other departments, and work study positions.

Our Vision

Concordia University Wisconsin’s Theatre program has grown substantially in the past several years. Our students are enthusiastic about all aspects of the stage from performance to stage management to set design. Concordia Theatrum is a student-led club that puts on their own plays and attends traveling Broadway shows.

The Concordia University Theatre program offers students the opportunity to learn the diverse areas of theatre production: performance, literary, history, design, and tech. Students have the opportunity to take a range of Theatre courses, participate in plays, assist in Theatre management and marketing, engage in drama ministry, intern with local Theatre companies, and participate in service projects. Students can pursue the Theatre Minor or pursue a Theatrical Communication degree by combining Communications and Theatre. The program produces 3-5 plays a year of varying styles and genres.
