Six teams of Concordia University Wisconsin students will pitch their business ideas for a chance to take home a portion of more than $2,000 in seed funding.

The fourth annual CU Launch event will give CUW students 20 minutes to present their startup ideas to a respected panel of judges including:

  • David Latona, president of the Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation
  • Joe Wood, chief marketing officer of Sendik's
  • Joe Poeschl, director and co-founder of The Commons
  • Loren Peterson, former principal at Venture Investors
  • Mike Reilly, former VP at J&J Pharmaceuticals

REGISTRATION

This event is free and open to all CUW students, faculty, and staff, as well as the community at large. No registration is required.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

The event will kick off with a brief address from two introductory speakers: Harald Tomesch of QikVin, and Joe Poeschl, director and co-founder of The Commons.

The evening will proceed with teams each delivering a 20-minute pitch.

Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the presentations.
