Manpower’s Chief Legal and Public Affairs Office will speak on "The Leadership Workout: Every Leadership Lesson in the History of the Universe in 90 Minutes or Less" for the spring 2019 series.

Sponsored by the Batterman School of Business MBA program, the Industry Leaders Seminar brings industry experts to campus to speak on a variety of business leadership topics. Experts share real-world examples and case studies to support their insights.

Mark Toth has served as ManpowerGroup North America's Chief Legal Officer since 2000. He also serves on the company’s North American Leadership Team, a group of senior executives responsible for developing and executing the company’s North American business strategy. He oversees Legal, Public Affairs, Compliance, Risk Management and Real Estate.

Mark is a recognized expert in the ever-changing world of work. His key areas of expertise include labor market developments, business strategy, negotiations, leadership, employee engagement and all aspects of legal compliance. He has been interviewed as a workplace expert by The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Business Week, 60 Minutes, The National Law Journal and many others.

Mark has been the highest-rated speaker at several conferences and was named one of the ten most intriguing people in the staffing industry by Staffing Review Magazine and one of the top 100 most influential people in staffing by Staffing Industry Analysts. He is a past Chair and current board member of the American Staffing Association and serves on the board of the World Employment Confederation. He is also a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, as well as a Certified Staffing Professional and a member of the American and Wisconsin Bar Associations.

Mark is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and has completed executive programs at Harvard Business School and the University of Michigan Ross School of Business
