ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Celeste's passion in life is to live it to the fullest through teaching, empowering and motivating others to live in the same manner. In pursuit of these goals, Celeste is Founder and CEO of Life Empowered Consulting Services which specializes in career development, coaching, and training. She is also an accomplished author having written a motivational book entitled “Looking Back, then Moving Forward” that chronicles her leadership insights gained from many years as a leader in corporate America. She went on to write “The Book of Extra - Motivational Insights to Help You Realize Your Extra Ordinary Potential” and in 2017, became a certified coach and member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team.

When not running and building a business, she can frequently be found volunteering at her church. She is a licensed Evangelist at Greater Mt. Sinai Church in Milwaukee, WI tasked with counseling, advocacy, and servant leadership.

Celeste Cuffie enjoyed a successful and progressive career at Johnson Controls, joining Building Efficiency in 2008. She held multiple positions, including Contract Accounting Representative and Operations Program Analyst. In her final role, as an IT Processes and Methods Manager for Power Solutions, she was tasked with the continuous improvement of project management processes & methods, training of project resources, and portfolio management oversight for projects globally.

Prior to Johnson Controls, Celeste started her career at Continental Savings Bank and then Associated Bank where she held leadership roles of increasing responsibility including Branch Operations Supervisor and then Regional Teller Manager for the Milwaukee Area where she oversaw the operations and auditing of ten branches.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Celeste graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Management & Communication. In 2012, she graduated with a double Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Management from Concordia University Wisconsin.

In spite of all of her professional accomplishments, Celeste is most proud to be the wife, for over 25 years, of her childhood sweetheart, Sheldon, and the proud mother to two fabulous children, Alyssa (21), and Zachary (17).
