Beginning August 26th, an exhibit entitled "Color Creates Light" by former Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design professor, Jennifer Poetzel, will be part of the opening of the 2019-2020 fine arts gallery season at CUW. This event is free and open to the public during regular gallery hours.

SCHEDULE

The opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, August 29th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. -- Light refreshments will be served.

The exhibit will run from August 26th through October 30th during regular gallery hours:

Monday - Thursday | 4:00 p.m. - 8:00pm

Friday | 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Sunday | 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

LOCATION

The reception and exhibit will be located in the Concordia University Wisconsin Student Art Gallery

OTHER EXHIBITS

"A Certain Degree of Faithfulness", a series of paintings by longtime art professor, Dr. Gaylund Stone, will take place in the main CUW Art Gallery

"Walking With Trees", a series of etchings by Todd Mrozinski will take place in the adjacent '14 Frames Gallery',

Both exhibits will run concurrently with "Color Creates Light".
