#GivingTuesday was created in 2012 in response to the craziness of commercialized shopping events on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The idea is simple: a day to encourage people to do good.
It has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity…..what the season of giving is truly about.
