Students of color from Milwaukee-area high schools are invited to learn more about college life and the application process.

Concordia's Black Student Union, in partnership with the School of Education, will host a series of sessions designed to demystify the college application process in the hopes that more diverse youth will see college as a viable option.

The sessions will provide a platform and dialogue opportunities to engage potential college students academically and culturally.

Concordia will welcome the following groups:

  • Black Student Union from Whitefish Bay High School | Feb. 3 from 12-1 p.m. Central
  • Kingdom Prep Lutheran High School | Feb. 12 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Central
  • Brown Deer High School | Feb. 19 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Central
  • The Waukesha School District | Feb. 26 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Central
If you know a student or school group that would benefit from one of these inspiring sessions, there is opportunity to join an existing session or schedule a separate one. Contact Prof. Eugene Pitchford with your interest.
