Our mission is to educate and excite middle school-aged children from Lutheran Urban Mission Initiative (LUMIN) Schools about professions in the healthcare field through an engaging and interactive camp grounded in Christian principles.
Objectives
- Provide opportunities for middle school children to explore careers in healthcare
- Provide opportunities for middle school children to explore and experience a university-level learning setting.
- Provide opportunities for interprofessional/intergenerational learning.

Sample Schedule
- 8:30-9:00 am: Arrive at CUW/continental breakfast served
- 9:00-9:30 am: Bible story/devotion break
- 9:45-10:30 am: Section #1 (45 minutes)
- 10:40-11:25 am: Section #2 (45 minutes)
- 11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Lunch
- 12:40-1:25 pm: Section #3 (45 minutes)
- 1:35-2:20 pm: Section #4 (45 minutes)
- 2:30-3:30 pm: Closing activity
- 3:30 pm: Transportation back to Pilgrim Lutheran School
