This series of professional development workshops will focus on the basics behind student behaviors. Improving our understanding of functions of behavior enables us to meet the needs of students in our classrooms and apply specific strategies for the purposes of positively managing individual and group behaviors that encourage and support academic, behavioral, and social learning for all students. Additionally, we will discuss and apply specific strategies for the purposes of positively managing individual and group behaviors that encourage and support academic, behavioral, and social learning for all students. Additionally, we will discuss classroom structures that encourage interactions and activities to promote learning, including communication and relationships. Teachers at any experience level will benefit from this series, but teachers early in their careers are especially encouraged to join us!
