SPEAKER BIO:

Abby Andrietsch is school president and chief executive officer at St. Augustine Preparatory Academy (Aug Prep), a non-denominational K4-12 Christian school on Milwaukee's south side. Launched in 2017, Aug Prep is a student-centered environment where young learners take ownership of their education not only in academics, but also in physical health, creativity, and faith. Aug Prep graduates will go on to achieve their highest potential and make our city, and ultimately the world, a better place. Aug Prep currently enrolls 1,900 students and is amidst an expansion that will ultimately allow the school to serve 2,400 students.

Prior to joining Aug Prep, Abby served as the co-founder and executive director of Schools That Can Milwaukee (now City Forward Collective) for eight years. While there, she worked with more than 250 leaders from MPS, charter, and private schools to help transform K-12 education in Milwaukee. Abby is a graduate of the University of Virginia and has an M.B.A. and M.Ed. from Stanford University. She serves on the board of directors for All-In Milwaukee and Husco. She lives in the Milwaukee area with her husband Omar and two daughters, Page and Emma - both of whom are proud Aug Prep Lions!
