On the one-year anniversary of Hamas's attack on Israel, the National Security and Space Center will be hosting Dr. Delphine Gamburg, the Deputy Consul General of the Consul General of Israel to the Midwest.

She will give an update on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, explain the Israeli-American relationship as allies, and speak to the national security concerns of Israel.

SPEAKER BIO
Delphine Gamburg, Ph.D., is the Deputy Consul General at the Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest. Dr. Gamburg was born in France and immigrated to Israel where she pursued studies in international relations. A career diplomat, she joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel in 1998 and worked in the legal department for 7 years. In Israel, she also worked in the Department of Development Cooperation, the Department of Strategic Affairs, and the Bureau for Relations with the Diaspora and Religions. She served as Cultural Attaché at the Israeli Embassy in Washington D.C. before being appointed Minister-Counsellor for Public Diplomacy at the Israeli Embassy in Paris. Dr. Gamburg earned an LL.B., a Master’s degree in International Relations, and a Ph.D. focusing on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. She is married to Yaron and is the mother of three boys.
