4th Annual Sonography Education Event (SEE)
SEE is a continuing medical education (CME) event for community diagnostic medical sonographers and students. Presentations start at 8am and conclude at 12pm. The event is free and offers 4 CMEs through SDMS. Participants must attend the entire event to receive the 4 CMEs. Partial credit cannot be awarded.

8:00 am-8:50 am (CST):
Endometriosis and the Sonographer, Benjamin D. Beran, MD
Objectives:
• Evaluate endometriosis pathogenesis
• Identify symptoms of endometriosis
• Analyze diagnostic techniques and recognize limitations of each


9:00 am-9:50 am (CST):

Correlating Ultrasound, CT and MRI, Matthew Ryan, MHA, RDMS (AB, OB), RVT, RTR
Objectives:
• Describe the properties of CT, MRI and Ultrasound
• Compare corresponding structures between CT, MRI and Ultrasound
• Recognize and describe basic structures seen on CT, MRI and Ultrasound


10:00 am-10:50 am (CST):
Contrast Enhanced Liver Ultrasound, Renee Schauer, BS, RDMS (AB, OB, PS), RVT
Objectives:
• Recognize uses and application of contrast enhanced ultrasound
• Differentiate pathology and appearance with contrast enhanced ultrasound

11:00 am-11:50 am (CST):
Ergonomics in Sonography, Jennifer Sipert, MS, CPHQ, RDMS, RVT
Objectives:
• Identify safe scanning practices
• Differentiate ergonomic equipment and uses
