Wit, romance, and mischief
A shipwreck, a disguise, and a whole lot of romantic confusion — "Twelfth Night" is Shakespeare’s delicious blend of wit, mischief, and tangled hearts.
When Viola washes ashore in Illyria and dresses as a man to survive, she ends up in the service of Duke Orsino, helping him woo the mourning Lady Olivia. But Olivia promptly falls for Viola’s male alter ego, while Viola herself secretly loves Orsino.
Meanwhile, a band of pranksters — including the clever Maria, drunken Sir Toby, and the foolish Sir Andrew — conspire to humiliate the pompous steward Malvolio in one of Shakespeare’s most famous comedic subplots.
Join Concordia University Players in this packed play with mistaken identities, playful wordplay, and moments of bittersweet longing. "Twelfth Night" is a story where love crosses boundaries, reason is no match for desire, and in the end, joy wins the day.
