Faith and emerging bioethics

Dr. Tara Sander Lee will discuss the bioethics issues behind today’s latest embryonic technologies such as AI in artificial reproduction (IVF), gene editing, “designer babies,” stem cells, cloning and synthetic "parentless" embryos, as well as other emerging issues which most Christians know very little about. SALT (Science Alliance for Life and Technology) exists to “season” public debate with trustworthy science and ethics, and to protect human life and dignity as biotech rapidly rewrites what’s possible. Science, ethical stakes, and faith implications will be discussed.
