Long Day's Journey Into Night (by Eugene O'Neill)

Directed by Prof. Lori Woodall-Schaufler, Journey is Eugene O’Neill’s autobiographical play and is regarded as his finest work. First published by Yale University Press in 1956, it won the Pulitzer Prize in 1957and has since sold more than one million copies. The story gives a glimpse of a day in the life of an early 20th century New England family grappling with the effects of alcoholism and morphine addiction.
