Program Overview

Concordia’s MBA in accounting program is available both in-person and face-to-face and will provide you with the skills necessary to sit for the national CPA exam. Among other business foundations, you’ll learn essential skills like advanced auditing and global production and operations, as well as systems management and design. Best of all, you’ll receive direct, one-on-one instruction from current professionals eager to give you the practical experience required in order to prepare you for your career as a certified public accountant.

Graduate Certificate

Post-Baccalaureate students can earn a graduate certificate by selecting four courses within one of the MBA concentration areas or within the MBA core for a total of twelve credits. Students may at any time transition into the MBA degree program course of study through the standard application process.

What to Expect

As a graduate of our MBA in accounting program, you’ll not only gain greater expertise in the field, you’ll come out as a leader with the skills to make strategic decisions. You’ll know how to manage fraud, be confident in handling advanced accounting issues, communicate clearly, and lead diverse groups of people. Plus, you’ll have the knowledge you need to become a CPA—so you can join the field a step ahead. As a student of Concordia's MBA program, expect to take five foundational MBA courses and an additional four courses (12-credits) specific to your accounting concentration. The last course will be a capstone, tying your entire MBA experience together. Graduate in as little as 18-months through our accelerated 8-week online courses.
