This online school administration program will empower you to manage the needs and goals of students, teachers, support staff, and others in a learning community. Within a specific licensure area, you will build the skillset and knowledge to provide strategic direction, instructional support, and effective management. Learn to effectively oversee legal, financial, personnel, school safety, and other emerging topics facing individuals in school leadership.

Wisconsin School Business Administrator licensure (#5008)

Students are not required to hold a current and valid WI Professional Educator's License to earn the School Business Administrator licensure.
Learn to understand how school districts operate and guide them twoards financial well-being.
Develop the business skills to help manage the multiple facets needed to maintain well-performing and stable schools for a community.
Advance your skills and understanding in accounting practices, budgeting, administrative duties, funding, and more.

What to Expect

This is a fully online program that is designed and taught by individuals with real experience as school administrators. The curriculum will prepare you to administer positive changes in schools, facilitiate healthy relationships between teachers and administration, ensure classrooms are culturally responsive, and implement new programs and strategies to maintain growth and success in your school or school district.

Athletic Administration Concentration

The field of athletic administration is rapidly evolving, and it's essential to be well-versed in the latest trends, strategies, and best practices to ensure that student-athletes are provided with a safe, inclusive, and successful athletic experience.

We are the only program in Wisconsin to use the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) curriculum. Completion of these online courses will enhance your knowledge and creditabiilty as an athletic director. Graduates of our program will be eligible to pursue national certification through the NIAAA.

Entrance requirements

An awarded bachelor's degree from an accredited higher-education institution
This graduate program has a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00. (Students below a 3.00 may still be reviewed for consideration.)
Hold a valid and current Wisconsin Professional Educator's license to be eligible for the Principal, Director of Instruction, or Director of Special Education and Pupil Services licensure.
Brief video introduction recorded and submitted through your Future Falcon application
Provide a copy of your government-issued identification

One page essay which should include the following:
- Reason for obtaining a graduate degree
- What are your career goals
- Why are you choosing to pursue your degree at Concordia University
Current résumé of your education and employment experience
Official transcripts from all institutions of your highest degree obtained
Complete a background check as required by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (PI 34.018).

When your application is complete, the file is forwarded to the Admission Committee for review.

If you don't yet have a master's degree, you can earn both a licensure and master's.

For individuals that hold a valid and current Wisconsin Professional Educator's License, you can earn a master's degree with a minimum of 30 credits when you combine courses from two of these licensures:

The teaching license requirement is waived for the School Business Administrator licensure.

Master's degree in Educational Administration will earn you the School Business Administrator License.
