What to Expect

What does it mean to be a holistic being? Well, that’s one of the things you’ll learn in this program, in addition to how that relates to our belief that we’re all created by God and deserving of the dignity, worth, and rights that are inherent to every individual. This program synthesizes knowledge from the sciences, humanities, and management theories as a basis for problem-solving and decision-making in health care. You’ll have the opportunity to evaluate research results applicable to health care practice and examine current trends and issues relative to health care management. You’ll be asked to demonstrate a willingness to work cohesively and communicate interpersonally with members of the interdisciplinary health care team, in addition to creating a reflective self-plan for personal and professional growth. You’ll also learn to respect diversity within the health care community – for both patient and providers – and be asked to demonstrate effective communication, in writing and presentations.
