Our Pharmacy Residency program (PGY1) differs from most other ambulatory care-focused residency programs – we focus on preparing academic ambulatory care pharmacists, practice in urban underserved areas, and experiences in both teaching and learning.

Program Overview

When you become a resident, you’ll get significant practice development experiences while advancing the knowledge needed to create your own practice. Our proximity to Milwaukee (just a 20-minute drive south) offers ample opportunities to network with multiple residents and practice sites through joint programming.

We aim to be the premier program in the country for preparing future ambulatory care pharmacy faculty, and we take great pride in achieving our school’s mission to “serve Christ in the Church and the world” through practice in urban underserved areas.

What to Expect

As a graduate of our program you will be capable of developing, providing, advancing, and teaching patient care in ambulatory settings. As well as, fulfill teaching, practice, research, and service roles as a pharmacy practice faculty member.
