The Batterman School of Business at Concordia University Wisconsin has partnered with Sendik’s to offer a unique and rigorous retail management program that will prepare selected adult accelerated students academically and tactically for a successful executive career within the growing retail industry.

Program Features

  • Scholars will major in Business Management or Hospitality and Event Business and will earn a minor in Retail Management.
  • Program will be administered at the Miller Park Way center.
  • Sendik's will contribute a $3,000 scholarship, per year, for final two years of the program and for one additional year after graduation while working for Sendik's.
  • Concordia will provide a 20% tuition discount for all Sendik’s employees, including those already enrolled in the program.

Academic Requirements

  • Entrance into the program will require a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • 60 credits of earned undergraduate coursework.
  • Scholars must maintain a full course load at all times.

Work Requirements

  • Scholars must go through the Sendik’s hiring process as part of their acceptance to the program.
  • During their education, Scholars are required to work 20/hours per week on average at a Sendik’s store.
  • Upon graduation, Scholars will be placed in a leadership role based upon performance and at the discretion of Sendik’s leadership.
  • After graduation, Scholars are expected to work for Sendik’s for two years (24 months).
