Merit Scholarships

Academic Scholarships for Traditional Undergraduate Students

Regents or Presidential Scholarship
  • Both scholarships range in amounts
  • Eligibility is based on student's high school GPA and ACT score
  • Renewable while your cumulative GPA remains above 2.49
One-Time Review: Award can be reviewed for a possible increase, at the request of the student, if their: CGPA increases AND at least two semesters have been completed.

Academic Scholarships for Transfer Students

Regents or Presidential Scholarship (Transfer)
  • Scholarships range in amounts
  • Eligibility is based on student's weighted GPA from previous schools
  • Renewable while your cumuulative GPA remains above 2.49
One-Time Review: Award can be reviewed for a possible increase, at the request of the student, if their: CGPA increases AND at least two semesters have been completed.

Additional Grants and Scholarships

Students with a GPA of 3.00 or above and living on campus will receive a $10,000 guarantee of financial aid funds. Student living off campus with a GPA of 3.00 or above will receive a guarantee of $5,800. 

 Concordia Grant

  • Award amount is up to $10,000 for students living on campus
  • Eligibility for Traditional Undergraduate students is determined by CGPA and ACT score
  • Transfer students living on campus with a weighted GPA of 3.29 or above receive an average of $4,200

Church Work Scholarships

  • Majors eligible: Pre-Seminary, Lutheran Education, or Lay Ministry
  • First-time, full-time freshmen eligible
  • Student is a member in good standing of a LCMS congregation
  • A financial aid application must be submitted before March 1st
  • GPA must exceed 2.49

Opportunity Grant

The Opportunity Grant is available for prospective, minority students.
