After you submit the FAFSA, the government will calculate your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) from the information you provided. Your EFC will be listed on your Student Aid Report. Please be aware that the EFC does not represent the actual amount you may be charged at any given college or university. The EFC is used to determine your need-based financial assistance.

Verification is the process your school uses to confirm that the data reported on your FAFSA is accurate. Your school will contact you for documentation that supports the information you reported. Your financial aid award will be completed once you have provided all necessary documentation. To complete the verification process click here.

Once your application has been processed, you can correct your FAFSA online using your FSA ID.

A Parent PLUS or Grad PLUS loan can be applied for at www.studentloans.gov.

Awards can be viewed and accepted online via the CUW Portal, or by completing a paper copy in the Financial Aid Office.  Your total amounts will be divided equally and applied to both semesters of an academic year.  Prior to accepting the award you will be required to review the terms and conditions of your financial aid award.
