Concentration curriculum

Designed for working professionals, the MBA with an AI concentration offers online courses and multiple start terms throughout the year, allowing students to build AI expertise without pausing their careers.

MBA students complete four AI concentration courses selected from the following:

  • BUS 6340 – Artificial Intelligence in Business
  • BUS 9120 – Business Intelligence and Predictive Analytics
  • BUS 6350 – Creating Business Value with AI
  • CSC 5015 – Applied Artificial Intelligence
  • CSC 5010 – Vocation and Ethical Computing
  • CSC 6240 – Data Acquisition and Management
  • CSC 6260 – Natural Language Processing

This curated curriculum combines courses from the Batterman School of Business and computer science offerings from the School of Arts & Sciences, ensuring graduates gain both conceptual understanding and applied experience in AI-enabled business leadership.

Courses are taught by faculty from business, analytics, and computer science disciplines, providing diverse perspectives and real-world insight. This interdisciplinary approach prepares graduates to lead AI initiatives across functional teams.
