CUW’s online FNP curriculum integrates advanced clinical science, ethical reflection, and leadership development. You’ll learn how to assess, diagnose, and manage patients across the lifespan using evidence-based approaches.
Courses are primarily online but include a required two- to three-day on-campus Advanced Health Assessment intensive and a one-day orientation. These interactive sessions strengthen your hands-on diagnostic and leadership skills.
Students complete 750 hours of clinical work under the supervision of approved preceptors. You’ll work with CUW faculty to identify clinical sites that align with your career goals and geographic location.
Family nurse practitioners are among the most versatile and in-demand healthcare providers in the nation. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 45% job growth for nurse practitioners through 2032, fueled by expanding primary care needs and provider shortages.
