Dear Concordia Graduate,

Congratulations and God’s blessings to you as you finalize the plans to become a Concordia University Wisconsin graduate!

All of us at Concordia feel privileged and proud to be part of your life story, and we encourage you to take a moment to reflect and rejoice.  You have done it, and what you have done is a big deal!

As you walk across the stage to shake President Ferry’s hand at graduation and, from there, walk into new opportunities and chapters in your life, it is our hope the knowledge, skills, and dispositions you developed at Concordia will equip you to live an uncommon life of service and purpose.  You are an ambassador of CUW, and we cannot wait to see where your life will lead.

Moreover, you will forever be a Concordian. Please be sure to update your contact information so we can keep you in the loop regarding alumni gatherings and events all across the country after graduation. As an alumnus, you are also eligible for the Alumni Scholarship, which can be applied to a broad range of CUW’s graduate programs (both in classrooms and online) as well as our new Ed.D. in Leadership in Innovation and Continuous Improvement.

While people often see the university commencement ceremony as “the end,” the word itself means “a beginning.” You have been equipped for service to Christ in the Church and throughout the world.  Go and make your individual and uncommon mark within each vocation you serve.

And, once again, congratulations, CUW graduate!
