The Speech Language Pathology department focuses on developing independent life-long learners, and as part of this commitment, we are pleased to offer continuing education to the public. Our continuing education program and events support practicing clinicians by providing relevant continuing education courses for the advancement of their clinical practice and maintenance of certification and licensure.

By pursuing continuing education, speech-language pathologists have the opportunity to engage with topics and issues across the lifespan and scope of practice. CE Events will delve into current topics relevant to the needs of practicing clinicians in southeast Wisconsin and the surrounding areas. Each course is tailored to benefit speech-language pathologists and/or audiologists currently in practice, regardless of how much experience they have in the field.

Attendance for the entire course is required to receive American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) CEUs. Participants in Continuing Education events are expected to sign in and out to demonstrate attendance at each event. You will need to provide your ASHA number for submission to the ASHA CE Registry.

For further information, to join our mailing list, or to request or suggest a specific topic or speaker for future offerings please email us at slpce@cuw.edu.
