Without council plans fail but with many advisors they succeed. [Proverbs 15:22] For this reason, I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. [II Timothy 1:6-7]
What does it mean to be mentored?
A student in the CUW Alumni Mentoring program will grow academically, personally, professionally and vocationally. Students will explore their chosen field, appreciate personal guidance through the integration of classroom knowledge with workforce experience, and gain a better understanding of service and vocation.
The student takes the lead in scheduling the time and interaction while the mentor guides the learning experience.
Who is the mentorship program for?
Student mentees are matched with alumni mentors who are carefully selected for their support for the CUW mission, expertise in their industry, and commitment to vocation. Applications will be accepted beginning the first week of April. The program length is for the traditional academic year and completes at the end of Spring 2024.
