Student ID Cards

All Concordia University Wisconsin University students receive a Falcon One photo student identification card that's used for everything from residence hall access, to library services, to meal plans. You can get your ID card in the One Card Office of the Rincker Memorial Library during normal business hours (Monday - Friday | 8:30 am - 4:30 pm).

Online learning students

Photo identification is required for all new ID cards, and since that isn't possible for distance or web students, each student must provide the following information via email:

  • Full name
  • CUW ID number (F00...)
  • Home address
  • Phone number
  • A unaltered photo - in .jpg format - of the upper torso using a plain background
  • Email to e-learning@cuw.edu

Once this information is received and your enrollment is verified, we'll process and mail your ID card.

Campus Safety / Parking / Vehicle Registration

The Campus Safety Office is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The Campus Safety Office is available for safety escorts to anywhere on campus that you don't feel comfortable traveling to alone. In case of emergency: contact the Mequon Police Department at 9-911 (if calling from on campus). Academic advising

Every CUW student is assigned an academic advisor. For all the details and a list of FAQs, check out the Academic Advising webpage. Here are a few highlights to get you started:

How and when advisors are assigned
  • Students are assigned a faculty or professional advisor in their area of study.
  • If you're an EXPLORE student (undecided), you will be enrolled in LA 101 and be assigned an advisor that works specifically with students who do not have a declared major.
  • Academic Advisors are assigned to new students about two weeks before the semester begins.

Your academic advisor

To find the name of your Academic Advisor and verify your program of study:

  • Log in to my.cuw.edu
  • Click on the Student Services tab
  • Select current semester in the Academic Profile box on the left side of the page
  • Look for your advisor's name in the Academic Profile box after the page reloads

If you don't have an advisor assignment one week into the semester, please contact the Academic Advising Office at 262-243-4499.
